Skin by Samie and Company works by appointment only. No-shows, late cancellations and late arrivals have a major effect on the studios ability to remain successful. For that reason, all policies must be strictly enforced. It is impossible to verify “hardship” cancellations. Therefore, all cancellations are treated the same, regardless of the reason given. All services must be secured by a valid credit card while booking and only fees pertaining to the policies below will be charged to the card on file.

Cancellation Policy
Please notify Skin by Samie 24-hours in advance, if you need to cancel, reschedule, or make changes to an appointment by calling or texting (415)246-7525. An email reminder is sent up to 48 hours before appointments. Clients whom cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before their appointment will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total. No showing for an appointment will result in a charge of 100% of the appointment. If a guest has any concerns about the strict policies or the possibility of incurring fees due to unforeseen circumstances, it’s strongly advised to schedule a same day appointment to ensure availability.

Running Late?
All appointments include a 10 minute grace period to accommodate for clients running a few minutes behind. If the client communicates they are running 10 or more minutes behind the appointment will be rescheduled to ensure quality of services and as a courtesy to guests and the service provider. 50% of the clients scheduled services will be charged to the card on file. If a client is running late and does not let the provider know they will be considered a no show after the 10 minute grace period has passed. A no-show gives no opportunity whatsoever to re-book an appointment, therefore no-shows are charged in full to the credit card provided on file.

Child Policy
Due to safety hazards present in our environment such as hot wax and chemicals, we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 10 unless they have a scheduled appointment. Our facilities do not have an elevator or the capacity to accommodate carriers and strollers. Anyone under the age of 18 receiving a service for the first time must have a parent or guardian present at the initial appointment to give written consent. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but appreciate your understanding!
